Wenchang: China on Wednesday successfully launched a group of low Earth orbit satellites, which will form part of an internet constellation. These satellites were launched from the Wenchang Space Launch Site in the southern island province of Hainan.

According to Anadolu Agency, the launch took place at 2.43 pm (0643GMT) using a Long March-5B carrier rocket. The satellites successfully entered their preset orbit, marking the eighth launch of its kind.

This mission represents the 588th mission of the Long March series carrier rockets, further demonstrating China's advancement in space technology and its commitment to establishing a robust internet satellite network.
