Ankara: China expressed opposition on Monday to Japan's decision to add Chinese entities to its export control list, urging an immediate cessation of the practice.
According to Anadolu Agency, a spokesperson from China's Commerce Ministry responded to Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry's recent update of its export-control "End User List," which included several Chinese companies. The spokesperson criticized the inclusion as 'unreasonable' and lacking 'factual basis,' asserting that the move could negatively affect business interests in both nations.
The spokesperson acknowledged the removal of two Chinese companies from the list, viewing it as a positive step that aligns with mutual interests. The spokesperson further expressed China's willingness to engage in dialogue with Japan to facilitate the removal of additional Chinese enterprises from the list.
