Moscow: Russian President Vladimir Putin issued a warning regarding Europe's increasing 'militarization', stating that Russia's response would be prompt. Speaking at a plenary session of the Valdai International Discussion Club, Putin emphasized that Russia has never instigated military confrontations, deeming them unnecessary and distracting from real issues.

According to Anadolu Agency, Putin asserted that Moscow is quick to react to any threats against its security, peace, citizen tranquility, sovereignty, or statehood. He cautioned other nations against provoking Russia, noting that history has consistently shown negative outcomes for those who do. Putin further stressed that Russia's history demonstrates that showing weakness leads to attempts to resolve issues by force, a stance Russia will never adopt.
