Copenhagen: Armenia's Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Thursday held separate meetings with European Parliament President Roberta Metsola, French President Emmanuel Macron, and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on the sidelines of the European Political Community Summit in Copenhagen.
According to Anadolu Agency, Pashinyan stated that his conversation with Metsola focused on expanding partnership with the EU, democratic reforms in Armenia, and the regional peace agenda. He highlighted the importance of the Washington Peace Summit outcomes and the TRIPP (Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity) project, as shared on US social media platform X.
In his talks with Macron, Pashinyan noted the reaffirmation of the strategic partnership between Armenia and France, as well as discussions on regional developments. He expressed gratitude for France's continuous support.
During his meeting with Aliyev, the two leaders reaffirmed their commitment to implementing agreements reached at the Washington Peace Summit, which was initiated by US President Donald Trump, according to a statement from the Armenian prime minister's office.
