Mass Stabbing on UK Train Leaves Nine Critically Injured

Ankara: A mass stabbing incident on a train in Cambridgeshire has left nine individuals in critical condition. British Transport Police (BTP) reported that a total of ten people were hospitalized following the attack, with nine suffering life-threatening injuries. The incident has prompted the authorities to declare a 'major incident,' and counterterrorism officers are set to assist in the ongoing investigation. Two suspects have been apprehended in connection with the attack.

According to Anadolu Agency, other top stories include US President Donald Trump's recent threat of military action against Nigeria. Trump warned Nigeria of possible military intervention if the alleged killings of Christians continue. He stated on his Truth Social platform that the U.S. would cease all aid and assistance to Nigeria and may consider more aggressive measures.

Additionally, reports from Sudan reveal a dire situation as Sudanese Minister of State for Social Welfare, Salma Ishaq, disclosed to Anadolu that the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) killed 300 women in the first two days following their entry into El-Fasher, the capital of North Darfur State. The minister highlighted the severe human rights abuses the women faced, including sexual assaults, violence, and torture. The El-Fasher-Tawila road has been described as extremely perilous, with many civilians attempting to flee the violence.
