Ankara: Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman met in Riyadh with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres to discuss regional and international developments.
According to Anadolu Agency, discussions between the two sides at Al-Yamama Palace also focused on issues of global security and stability. Guterres's visit to Saudi Arabia is part of a regional tour, during which he will attend the 11th Global Forum of the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations in Riyadh on December 14-15.
Following his engagements in Saudi Arabia, Guterres will travel to Iraq to mark the closure of the UN Assistance Mission in Iraq (UNAMI). His tour will also include a stop in Oman, where he is scheduled to meet with Sultan Haitham bin Tariq to discuss regional issues, including the ongoing situation in Yemen.
