Sanliurfa: Trkiye's premier technology and aviation event, TEKNOFEST, is set to take place in the southern province of Sanliurfa next year, as announced by the head of the organizing foundation. The event will run for five days, commencing on September 30, 2026, according to Selcuk Bayraktar, the chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Trkiye Technology Team Foundation (T3 Foundation). The announcement was made during the Take Off Trkiye Startup Summit.
According to Anadolu Agency, the Take Off Trkiye Startup Summit, a two-day event that began on Wednesday, was hosted at the Istanbul Expo Center. The summit was organized under the leadership of the T3 Foundation, in collaboration with the Industry and Technology Ministry and the Investment and Finance Office. Anadolu served as the global communications partner for the summit.
TEKNOFEST has a tradition of being held in various Turkish cities during even-numbered years, while Istanbul hosts the event in odd-numbered years. The event has also expanded internationally, having been organized in Azerbaijan and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).
This year, TEKNOFEST's maritime edition, known as Blue Homeland, took place in Istanbul. The TRNC and Blue Homeland events collectively attracted around 1.5 million visitors in 2025. In 2024, the event in Adana, a southern Turkish city, drew approximately 1.1 million visitors. Overall, TEKNOFEST has welcomed a total attendance of around 11 million to date.
