Washington: US President Donald Trump on Saturday vowed to respond to an alleged ISIS (Daesh) attack in Syria that left two US service members and a US civilian dead and three service members wounded. "We will respond to the attack on our forces by ISIS," Trump said, adding: "We will respond if American forces are attacked again."

According to Anadolu Agency, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) reported that two US troops and a civilian were killed and three other service members were injured in an ambush carried out by an ISIS gunman in Syria. CENTCOM further stated, "The gunman was engaged and killed."
