Istanbul: Trkiye's benchmark stock index, the BIST 100, concluded Tuesday with a new all-time high of 13,875.32 points, marking an increase of 1.87%. After beginning the day at 13,725.45 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index saw a gain of 254.37 points from Monday's close.

According to Anadolu Agency, the index's lowest value during the day was 13,660.78, while it reached a daily high of 13,926.55. The market value of the BIST 100 stood at approximately 13.76 trillion Turkish liras, equivalent to $316.9 billion, with a trading volume amounting to 249 billion liras, or $5.72 billion.

Out of the stocks listed on the index, 83 saw an increase, while 16 experienced a decline compared to the previous close. Meanwhile, gold was valued at $4,922.85 per ounce, and Brent crude oil was priced at $66.75 per barrel as of 6.30 pm local time (1530GMT).

The currency exchange rates were also noted, with the US dollar trading at 43.4850 Turkish liras, the euro at 51.3750 liras, and the British pound at 59.5870 liras.
