Tehran: Iran will no longer launch missiles carrying warheads lighter than one ton at US and Israeli targets, the commander of the Aerospace Force of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced Monday.
According to Anadolu Agency, Majid Mousavi stated that missile attacks on Israeli and US targets are expected to intensify further.
Regional tensions have escalated since a joint attack by Israel and the US on February 28, which resulted in the deaths of over 1,200 people, including Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, as per Iranian authorities.
In retaliation, Iran has carried out drone and missile strikes targeting Israel, Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf countries that host US military installations.
