Oman: Oman announced that a drone was shot down and another crashed into the sea north of the coastal city of Duqm, amid ongoing military tensions between Iran and the US.
According to Anadolu Agency, the state news agency ONA reported that no human or property losses were incurred in the incident. Oman has expressed strong condemnation over the repeated targeting of its territory and emphasized that it is implementing all necessary measures to ensure the security of the nation and its residents.
The regional tensions have been escalating since February 28, following a joint attack by Israel and the US on Iran, which resulted in over 1,200 fatalities and left 10,000 individuals injured. In response, Tehran has launched drone and missile strikes targeting Israel, Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf nations where US military forces are stationed.
