Tensions in the Middle East have escalated following joint attacks by Israel and the US on Iran on February 28. These attacks have resulted in more than 1,300 deaths, including that of Ali Khamenei, Iran's former supreme leader, and over 150 schoolgirls.

Iranian authorities reported that over 10,000 people have been injured in the attacks by Israel and the US. In response, Tehran launched drone and missile strikes targeting Israel, Jordan, Iraq, and several Gulf countries hosting US military assets. Since the onset of the conflict, eight US service members have lost their lives.
