Trkiye Enters New Era with Proactive Strategy, Declares Erdogan

Istanbul: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced that Trkiye is embarking on a new era characterized by increased agility and proactivity. He made these remarks during an iftar dinner in Istanbul, emphasizing the country's commitment to taking preventive measures against threats to its airspace.

According to Anadolu Agency, Erdogan's comments came after a ballistic missile launched from Iran entered Turkish airspace, only to be 'neutralized by NATO air and missile defense assets in the Eastern Mediterranean,' as reported by the Defense Ministry. The president highlighted the importance of safeguarding Trkiye from regional conflicts, urging citizens to be cautious amid rising sectarian and ethnic tensions.

Erdogan emphasized Trkiye's careful approach in avoiding traps and provocations designed to draw the nation into conflict. He expressed confidence in the country's unity as a means to resist threats to its independence and future.

Addressing global issues, Erdogan criticized countries that ignore acts of genocide and support oppressive regimes, specifically mentioning Israel. He lamented the global community's silence on atrocities and stressed Trkiye's commitment to being a moral compass in the world.

The president also noted the disparity in global attention, pointing out that the suffering of children in Gaza and Syria receives less attention than trivial issues. He reaffirmed Ankara's dedication to supporting the oppressed and standing against tyranny.
