Russia: Russia said Thursday that it is "seriously concerned" over the escalating conflict in the Gulf, calling for an immediate halt to hostilities and offering to help broker a diplomatic solution. The Russian Foreign Ministry highlighted the increasing damage to energy and other vital infrastructure in Iran and neighboring Arab states, labeling the conflict as a result of "unprovoked aggression" by the United States and Israel.

According to Anadolu Agency, Moscow expressed its readiness to "facilitate the resolution of the conflict" through political and diplomatic means, aiming for "long-term sustainable stabilization" in the region. However, it emphasized that the initial step toward resolution should be the "immediate renunciation" by Washington and Tel Aviv of their "military adventure."

Russia has a history of military cooperation with Iran, although it has denied allegations of sharing intelligence regarding the location of US assets. This follows comments from US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, who stated that Russian President Vladimir Putin had assured US President Donald Trump that no intelligence sharing was occurring.

US-Israeli strikes on Iran, which commenced on February 28, have reportedly resulted in approximately 1,300 fatalities, including the then-Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. In response, Iran has launched drone and missile strikes targeting Israel, Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf countries hosting US military assets. These retaliatory actions have caused casualties, infrastructure damage, and disruptions to global markets and aviation.
