Kuwait city: Kuwait's air defenses are actively intercepting "hostile" missiles and drones, the Army General Staff announced Monday. It warned that explosions might be heard across the country due to these interceptions and urged the public to follow safety instructions issued by relevant authorities. Currently, there have been no immediate reports of damage or casualties.

According to Anadolu Agency, Kuwait did not specify the source of the threat, but the attacks occurred amid ongoing US-Israeli strikes on Iran, which began on February 28. In response, Iran has launched drone and missile strikes targeting Gulf countries that host US military assets.

Data from the Kuwaiti Army, the Kuwaiti National Guard, the Kuwaiti Center For Government Communication, and the official KUNA news agency reveal that Kuwait has been targeted by at least 261 missile and 585 drone attacks since the conflict began.
