Beirut: The Israeli army has issued immediate evacuation warnings for residents in multiple neighborhoods in Southern Lebanon as part of its ongoing military offensive against the nation. The area, already under significant tension, is expected to witness further military operations by Israel, prompting urgent safety measures for civilians.

According to Anadolu Agency, an official statement from Israeli army spokesman Avichay Adraee specifically urged residents of Machgharah, Tyre, and Burj Al-Shamali to evacuate immediately. The warning comes as the Israeli military plans to conduct operations in these regions, attributing the actions to alleged Hezbollah activities within the neighborhoods.

The situation in Lebanon has been escalating since a cross-border attack by Hezbollah on March 2, which led to intensified Israeli airstrikes and a ground offensive in the southern part of the country. Lebanese authorities report that these attacks have resulted in at least 1,039 fatalities and injured 2,876 people.

This current military tension is part of a broader conflict that erupted following the initiation of a joint US-Israeli offensive on Iran. Since February 28, this offensive has resulted in the deaths of over 1,340 individuals. In retaliation, Tehran has launched drone and missile strikes against Israel and other countries in the region, including Jordan, Iraq, and several Gulf nations, targeting what it describes as 'US military assets.'
