Tehran: Iran announced that 230 students and teachers have lost their lives since the commencement of US-Israeli attacks.

According to Anadolu Agency, Iran's Ministry of Education reported that alongside the fatalities, 177 students and cultural figures have sustained injuries since the attacks began. The state broadcaster IRIB highlighted these figures in a recent report.

Additionally, more than 600 educational and cultural facilities have suffered damage or destruction due to the ongoing conflict. The US and Israel have conducted airstrikes on Iran since February 28, resulting in over 1,340 deaths, including the former Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

In response, Tehran has launched drone and missile attacks targeting Israel and several other countries in the region hosting US military installations. These retaliatory strikes have caused casualties and infrastructure damage, while also affecting global markets and aviation sectors.
