8 Killed in US-Israeli Missile Attack on Residential Areas in Western Iran: Report

Kermanshah: A US-Israeli missile attack on residential areas in Kermanshah in western Iran has killed eight people, Mehr news agency reported on Saturday, citing local officials. The attack targeted the Chaqa Golan neighborhood, resulting in a tragic loss of life, including four female students, as confirmed by the deputy governor of Kermanshah.

According to Anadolu Agency, the missile strike is part of ongoing airstrikes by the US and Israel on Iran since February 28. These attacks have resulted in the deaths of over 1,340 individuals, including the former Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. Iran has responded to these strikes with its own drone and missile attacks on Israel and several countries in the region that host US military assets, such as Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf countries. These retaliatory measures have led to casualties and significant damage to infrastructure, further impacting global markets and aviation.
