Iran: Iran's Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters on Thursday dismissed US claims of full control over the Strait of Hormuz as 'baseless lies,' asserting that the strategic waterway remains under Tehran's control.

According to Anadolu Agency, the military command stated that the US assertions regarding the normal passage of vessels through the Strait of Hormuz are merely reflections of what it described as the US military's helplessness and confusion. The statement, which was broadcast by Iranian state media IRIB, firmly denounced these claims as falsehoods and baseless.

The spokesperson for Iran's military command emphasized that the Strait of Hormuz continues to be under the full management and control of the Islamic Republic of Iran. They further asserted that no commercial vessel or oil tanker would be able to transit the strait safely without the authorization and supervision of Iran's armed forces.
