Beirut: The Israeli army demolished an elderly care home in southern Lebanon on Saturday, marking another breach of Lebanon's sovereignty, as reported by the Lebanese NNA news agency. This incident took place in the town of Houla, located in the Marjayoun district.

According to Anadolu Agency, the Israeli forces also targeted structures between the towns of Markaba and Rab El Thalathine in the same district. Additionally, in the Nabatieh district, an Israeli drone conducted a strike on an open area between Jarmaq and Kfar Remman, and artillery fire was directed at the outskirts of Zawtar al-Gharbiyeh. Further artillery shelling was reported between the towns of Haddatha and Haris.

The military operations are part of Israel's continued activities in Lebanon, following the launch of a new offensive in March. Israeli forces have been advancing into more areas in southern Lebanon. Despite a US-mediated framework agreement reached on June 26, which outlined a phased Israeli withdrawal in exchange for the deployment of the Lebanese army and the disarmament of groups like Hezbollah, tensions remain high between the two nations.
