Hezbollah Member Killed, Two Israeli Soldiers Injured in Southern Lebanon Clash

Shaqif highlands: A Hezbollah member was killed and two Israeli soldiers were injured in a clash in the Shaqif Highlands in southern Lebanon, the Israeli army said Monday. 'Earlier today, during Israeli army patrols in the Beaufort area (Shaqif) in southern Lebanon, a Hezbollah terrorist inside a building opened fire at the soldiers,' the army said in a statement. The Israeli forces returned fire and killed him, it added. During the exchange of fire, two Israeli army soldiers were lightly injured, the army said.

According to Anadolu Agency, earlier Monday, the army claimed that last night, Hezbollah members launched two explosive-laden drones at Israeli army troops operating in the Ali al-Taher Heights area, located within the security zone in southern Lebanon. No injuries were reported. In response, the army said it struck several Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon, including a 'weapons storage facility.' There was no immediate comment from Hezbollah on the Israeli claims.
