Hebron:A Palestinian was killed and five others were injured in Israeli army and occupier attacks in the occupied West Bank provinces of Hebron and Jenin on Monday, as reported by Palestinian officials and medical sources.

According to Anadolu Agency, Israeli forces opened fire on a vehicle carrying three Palestinians near Bani Naim, east of Hebron. This resulted in the death of one individual and injuries to the other two. The Palestinian General Authority of Civil Affairs identified the deceased as Hossam Alaa al-Din Abdul Jabbar Walad Ali, 38, and noted that his body was withheld by Israeli forces.

The Israeli army stated that the three Palestinians attempted a car-ramming attack against soldiers in the Bani Naim area.

In a separate incident, three Palestinians sustained injuries when Israeli occupiers assaulted them while they were harvesting olives near Yabad, southwest of Jenin. The Palestinian Red Crescent reported that its crews treated the injured individuals in the Imriha area and transported them to a hospital. Local sources indicated that one person suffered a broken leg, another had an injury to his left hand, and an elderly man was beaten and pepper-sprayed.

The Palestinian Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission reported that since October 2023, Israeli occupiers have conducted more than 14,742 attacks across the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, resulting in 66 Palestinian deaths. The attacks have also led to the damage or destruction of 147,111 trees, including 100,485 olive trees, through various means such as breaking, uprooting, burning, and poisoning.
