Ankara:Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan met with his Syrian counterpart Hassan al-Shibani in Ankara, as reported by Turkish diplomatic sources.

According to Anadolu Agency, no additional details on the meeting were disclosed by officials.

Earlier, on September 13, Fidan visited Syria to engage in discussions about bilateral relations and efforts by Türkiye aimed at fostering lasting stability, peace, and prosperity in Syria. During that visit, Fidan addressed issues related to Syria's integration process, emphasizing the significance of dissolving the SDF and the timely implementation of relevant decisions.
