Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani stressed the importance of the government’s intervention in the pricing of housing units.

He said in a press conference: “We must go to build residential cities and ensure that there are job opportunities for their residents inside them.”

Al-Sudani added, “Without the private sector, we will not be able to solve the housing crisis,” noting that “regional and foreign companies have expressed a desire to contribute to solving the housing crisis.”

He announced: “There is a tendency to re-design the basics of cities.”

Al-Sudani said in a press conference: “We are working to solve the problems facing allocating lands for building cities.
