Three more people were killed and several others injured in Israeli shelling in the city's Zeitoun neighborhood. Another airstrike targeted a house in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood, resulting in three deaths, and another victim was pulled from the rubble in the same vicinity. A drone strike in the same neighborhood killed five more people, as per medical reports.
Israeli warplanes also struck near a commercial center in Deir al-Balah, killing five and injuring several others, according to a medical source. Over 52,200 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza since October 2023, with most victims being women and children. The International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants last November for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its actions in the enclave.
