Islamabad: Pakistan has launched retaliatory strikes against Indian military installations, as reported by the Pakistani military. The Pakistani army announced that it successfully destroyed a missile storage site in India's Beas region as part of "Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos."

According to Anadolu Agency, these strikes were in response to New Delhi's "Operation Sindoor," which was initiated by India inside Pakistan on May 6. The operation resulted in the deaths of 33 individuals and injuries to 62 others, according to the Pakistan army's statements.

In other news, a federal judge in Vermont has ordered the release of Turkish PhD student Rumeysa Ozturk on bail. Ozturk had been detained by immigration agents in late March. The court determined that she does not pose a danger to the community nor a flight risk. Judge William Sessions III mandated the immediate release of Ozturk, allowing her to return to her home in Massachusetts.

Additionally, the Israeli army has claimed to intercept a missile fired from Yemen using its air defense systems.
