Tel aviv: Israel's Tax Authority has received 10,314 claims for damages caused by Iranian missiles and drones since Feb. 28, Israeli media reported Thursday. Tel Aviv recorded the highest number of claims at 5,300, followed by Ashkelon with 3,900, Jerusalem with 200, and a combined total of 970 from Acre and Tiberias.
According to Anadolu Agency, of the total claims, 7,250 were related to building damage, 1,130 pertained to contents and equipment, and 1,770 involved vehicles. In the past 24 hours, hospitals have treated 179 people, with 85 still receiving medical care. The Institute for National Security Studies reported that 14 Israelis have died since the onset of the Israeli-US offensive.
Israel has imposed strict censorship regarding human and material losses, suggesting the actual toll may be higher. The conflict erupted following Israeli and US strikes on Iran, which resulted in the death of hundreds, including former Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. This prompted Iranian missile and drone retaliations targeting Israel and US interests in the region.
