Baku:Israeli artillery shelling targeted several areas in southern Lebanon, including Mansouri and Majdal Zoun in the western sector.

According to Anadolu Agency, intense artillery shelling hit the towns, with machine-gun fire directed toward Beit al-Sayyad. Additional shelling targeted the outskirts of Haddatha and Baraachit, as well as the Al-Araish area between Haris and Haddatha in the Bint Jbeil district.

Earlier that morning, artillery rounds struck the outskirts of Shaqra and Wadi al-Salouqi. There have been no immediate reports of casualties or damage resulting from these attacks.

Lebanon and Israel have been involved in US-led negotiations since March, aiming to resolve security issues along the border and to put an end to Israeli occupation and attacks on Lebanese territory.
