These violations resulted in the deaths of two individuals and injuries to ten others. In Marjayoun, an Israeli drone attack on the town of Rab El Thalathine led to two fatalities and two injuries, as reported by the Lebanese news agency. Additional artillery shelling occurred in Rab El Thalathine and at the Taybeh Project, a water pumping station in Taybeh. Israeli forces further targ eted the vicinities of Bani Haiyyan and Markaba. In the city of Marjayoun, Israeli artillery shelling, combined with machine gunfire directed at various neighborhoods, hindered residents from checking on their homes and properties. In Bint Jbeil district, Israeli forces entered Aytaroun, where they set a car ablaze and a Merkava tank crushed several vehicles while surrounding some families. The International Committee of the Red Cross later intervened to evacuate those trapped. Reports from residents in Chaqra indicated an Israeli airstrike at dawn on the town's outskirts, followed by sporadic artillery shelling. In Bint Jbeil, Israeli soldiers fired upon the central government building and prevented residents from returning to the city. The Israeli army asserted that it attacked four targets in southern and central Lebanon on the same day, claiming these posed a "threat" to Israel. Among the claims were strikes on a vehicle allegedly transporting military equipment, an assault on individuals found with weapons, and a bombing of "rocket platforms in a Hezbollah site" in Sidon district. An Israeli drone flew over Beirut and its southern suburbs late Saturday, marking a first since the cease-fire, as reported by Lebanon's National News Agency. The agency also noted Israeli artillery fire on Al-Khiam in southern Lebanon. The cease-fire agreement, in effect since Wednesday, aims to halt the mutual bombardment that began on October 8, 2023. The agreement mandates an Israeli withdrawal south of the Blue Line de facto border, with the Lebanese army set to deploy in southern Lebanon within 60 days, under US and French oversight, though enforcement details remain v ague. Lebanese health authorities report that Israeli attacks in Lebanon have resulted in over 3,960 deaths, injured more than 16,500 people, and displaced over 1 million since October last year.
