Over 7,100 Injured in Israel as Conflict with Iran Intensifies

Jerusalem: Israel's Health Ministry reported on Monday that at least 7,142 individuals have been injured since the onset of the war with Iran, including 107 injuries recorded in the past 24 hours. The ministry's statement highlighted that 114 people remain hospitalized, with two in critical condition and 14 suffering from serious injuries.

According to Anadolu Agency, the death toll remains unspecified by the Health Ministry. However, the Institute for National Security Studies in Israel has confirmed that at least 31 people have been killed since the conflict began on February 28. The regional tensions have significantly increased following a joint offensive by the US and Israel on Iran, resulting in over 1,340 fatalities, including the then-Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

In retaliation, Tehran has launched drone and missile strikes targeting Israel, along with Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf countries hosting US military assets. Additionally, Iran has imposed restrictions on ship movements through the strategic Strait of Hormuz. This escalation has further extended into Lebanon, where the Israeli army has conducted airstrikes and a ground offensive, while Hezbollah has engaged in cross-border attacks into Israel.
