The police forces arrested two brothers who detained their elderly father in their home in the Nile district of Babylon.

Media Director of Babylon Police, Brigadier General Adel Al-Husseini, said: "The police received a report of the incident, and when approaching the house, the two brothers opened fire and tried to escape.

He added: "The police forces were able to arrest them red-handed and free their father."
