Istanbul: Trkiye's benchmark stock index opened Friday at 11,340.42 points, marking a slight increase of 0.04% or 4.24 points from the previous close.

According to Anadolu Agency, the BIST 100 experienced a minor decline of 0.03% on Thursday, closing at 11,336.18 points. The daily transaction volume for that day was recorded at 62 billion liras, equivalent to approximately $1.45 billion.

As of 10 am local time (0700GMT), the exchange rates were noted at 42.9250 Turkish liras to the US dollar, 50.5790 to the euro, and 57.9550 to the British pound. Additionally, the price of an ounce of gold stood at $4,511.80, while Brent crude oil was trading at $61.90 per barrel.
