Accra:Ankara Türkiye expressed condolences following a helicopter crash during a training flight involving Italian military personnel assigned to the EU's EUFOR Althea peacekeeping mission in Bosnia-Herzegovina.

According to Anadolu Agency – English, the Turkish Foreign Ministry shared a statement on the US social media platform X, expressing deep sorrow over the incident. The ministry highlighted Türkiye's contribution to the EU-led mission.

The statement conveyed condolences to the families of those who lost their lives and to the people of Italy, along with wishes for a speedy recovery to the injured.
