US, Japan, and South Korea Conduct Trilateral Military Drill.

Seoul: South Korea, the United States, and Japan have commenced their second trilateral multidomain military exercise in international waters near South Korea's southern island of Jeju. According to KBS World, this three-day exercise is being conducted as part of ongoing efforts to enhance military cooperation and preparedness among the allied nations. The exercise, which follows the initial drill named Freedom Edge held in June, underscores the strategic collaboration between these countries in response to regional security challenges. In related developments, US President-elect Donald Trump has announced the nomination of Mike Huckabee as the next US ambassador to Israel. According to Anadolu Agency, Huckabee, a former governor of Arkansas and a self-declared 'unapologetic Zionist,' has been chosen to represent US interests in Israel. This decision is seen as a significant indication of the incoming administration's approach towards Israel and Palestine.
