Abu dhabi: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that the upcoming trilateral peace talks involving Russia, Ukraine, and the United States are expected to be held in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates. Zelenskyy made this announcement during a video address, mentioning discussions with key figures such as Ukraine's chief negotiator Rustem Umerov, lawmaker Davyd Arakhamia, US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, and Jared Kushner, following a meeting in Geneva. According to Anadolu Agency, Zelenskyy emphasized the significance of finalizing security guarantees and preparing for a high-level meeting among presidents to effectively address critical issues. He noted that the economic team conducted a comprehensive review of a document outlining Ukraine's recovery, with plans to continue refining the details, especially concerning future reconstruction and investment strategies. Umerov mentioned that preparations for a new round of talks are underway, concentrating on finalizing security parameters, economic decisions, and agreed positions, which will serve as the foundation for further negotiations.
