Gaza: Israel killed at least 49 more Palestinians on Saturday in deadly strikes across the Gaza Strip, marking a continuation of its offensive that has persisted for more than 19 months.
According to Anadolu Agency, one of the recent attacks involved a drone strike in the Al-Heker area, south of Deir al-Balah in central Gaza, where five Palestinians lost their lives. In another incident, two Palestinians were killed in an Israeli airstrike on the Al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Younis.
Additionally, the body of a Palestinian from the "Al-Masri" family was discovered beneath the rubble of their home in Khan Younis' Jorat al-Lout neighborhood. Two Palestinians died, and two others sustained injuries in an Israeli strike on the "Al-Araj" family home in the Khan Younis refugee camp. A woman also succumbed to injuries from an earlier bombing west of Khan Younis.
Earlier reports indicated that four Palestinians were killed and several were wounded in an Israeli strike on civilians in Al-Tuffah, northeast of Gaza City. Two more Palestinians died in an airstrike on the Be'er al-Na'ja area in northern Gaza.
An Israeli airstrike on the "Al-Bayouk" family's home in Al-Fukhari town of Khan Younis claimed the lives of five Palestinians, including four women, as reported by an Anadolu correspondent. In another attack, seven people were killed and 60 others injured in the Al-Mawasi area of Rafah, according to the official Palestinian news agency Wafa.
In eastern Gaza City, a drone strike killed four civilians and injured others. Three women and a child were also killed in an Israeli strike on the Al-Tuffah neighborhood, as reported by Wafa. A strike on the "Al-Sharif" family home in northwestern Khan Younis resulted in six fatalities.

In another attack in Nuseirat, a man died, and five others, including a 1-month-old baby, were injured in an airstrike on the "Al-Majdalawi" family home.
The Israeli army also continued artillery shelling in the northern Nuseirat areas. Despite international calls for a ceasefire, Israel has maintained its offensive against Gaza since October 2023, resulting in the deaths of over 53,900 Palestinians, predominantly women and children.
Last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for alleged war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. Israel is also facing a genocide case at the International Court of Justice regarding its operations in the enclave.
