Gaza: Palestinian medics recovered the bodies of 53 people from under the rubble in Gaza, increasing the overall death toll from Israel's ongoing conflict in the enclave since October 2023 to 47,161, as stated by the Health Ministry.

According to Anadolu Agency, a ministry statement revealed that 19 injured individuals were admitted to hospitals in the last 24 hours, raising the total number of injured to 111,166 during the Israeli offensive. The statement also mentioned that many people remain trapped under the rubble and on the roads, as rescuers face challenges reaching them.

A ceasefire agreement was implemented in Gaza on January 19, bringing an end to Israel's military actions in the region. Despite the ceasefire, the conflict has resulted in over 11,000 people missing and caused widespread destruction. The humanitarian crisis has severely impacted the population, claiming the lives of many elderly people and children, marking it as one of the significant humanitarian disasters globally.

The International Criminal Court (ICC) took action last November by issuing arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, accusing them of war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
