Seoul: At least one individual was killed and 11 others were injured in a suspected arson attack at a high-rise apartment building in South Korea's capital, Seoul, as reported by local media.

According to Anadolu Agency, the fire erupted at a 21-story apartment building in the city. Authorities suspect that the blaze was deliberately set by an individual, leading to the unfortunate incident. In the aftermath of the fire, two of the injured individuals were hospitalized after jumping from the building to escape the flames.

The remaining nine victims sustained minor injuries, including smoke inhalation and respiratory issues. Efforts are currently underway by police to locate and apprehend the suspect believed to be responsible for the attack.
