Athens: Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens guard Kendrick Nunn has been named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the 2024-25 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague regular season. The announcement was made on Monday, marking a significant achievement for the 29-year-old American athlete.

According to Anadolu Agency, Nunn had a standout regular season, breaking points records and playing a crucial role in positioning his team for a potential championship repeat. He averaged 21.1 points, 4.3 assists, and 3.6 rebounds per game, boasting a performance index rating of 20.3. His scoring prowess led the league, earning him the Alphonso Ford Top Scorer Trophy.

Nunn's remarkable performance also earned him a spot on the All-EuroLeague First Team for the second year in a row, joining Sasha Vezenkov, Carsen Edwards, TJ Shorts, and Nigel Hayes-Davis. His contributions were pivotal in helping Panathinaikos secure the third seed with a 22-12 record in the regular season.

The Greek club is set to face Anadolu Efes in the playoffs, with hopes of securing another title. After spending three seasons in the NBA, Nunn signed with Panathinaikos in October 2023 and made an immediate impact by winning the EuroLeague title in his first season in Europe.

The EuroLeague MVP is determined through a combination of fan and media voting, with online fan votes accounting for 25% and media votes making up the remaining 75%.
