Jakarta: Turkish missile producer Roketsan has signed two contracts with Indonesian firm PT Republik Defence Indonesia. The contracts include the ATMACA Anti-Ship Missile and a joint production initiative, as announced by Murat Ikinci, the chair of Roketsan, on X on Wednesday.
According to Anadolu Agency, these agreements mark a key step in boosting Indonesia's naval capabilities and advancing local defense industry development. The contracts were signed during the defense event INDO Defense 2025 in the capital city of Jakarta.
Earlier on Wednesday, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced that Trkiye will export 48 fighter jets to Indonesia, marking a record-breaking defense deal for the country.
