Jenin: The Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA), a state-run aid organization, has inaugurated five greenhouses in the occupied West Bank city of Jenin. This initiative aims to enhance agricultural production for the Palestinian Turkmens residing in the area.

According to Anadolu Agency, TIKA President Abdullah Eren shared on the Turkish social media platform Next Sosyal that the greenhouses in Jenin are being used to cultivate fruits and vegetables. Jenin is recognized for its fertile lands, making it an ideal location for agricultural development.

Eren emphasized that the greenhouses serve a dual purpose: they not only facilitate the growth of produce but also reinforce the ties of friendship and solidarity between the people of Turkey and Palestine. He expressed that Trkiye remains committed to being the "voice, breath, and supporter" of Palestinian Turkmens.

The establishment of these greenhouses is part of TIKA's ongoing efforts to support the economic and social advancement of Turkmens in Palestine.
