Manama: Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman met with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni on the sidelines of the 46th summit of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) in the Bahraini capital, Manama. The meeting focused on enhancing bilateral relations across various sectors and discussing regional and international developments.

According to Anadolu Agency, several Saudi ministers, including those responsible for energy, defense, and foreign affairs, participated in the discussions. The gathering underscored the ongoing commitment to cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Italy.

The Italian Prime Minister's attendance at the GCC summit followed an invitation from Bahrain's King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, highlighting the significance of Italy's engagement in the region.
