Gaza: Four Palestinians, including a child, were injured in fresh Israeli attacks in Gaza, marking a breach of a fragile ceasefire agreement, medics reported on Monday evening.

According to Anadolu Agency, an Israeli quadcopter drone launched a missile targeting a group of civilians near a restaurant in the Bureij refugee camp located in central Gaza. This attack resulted in injuries to three individuals, including a child, as confirmed by medical sources. Additionally, in northern Gaza, a young man suffered injuries from Israeli gunfire in the town of Beit Lahia, further straining the tense situation.

The areas targeted in these attacks are among those from which the Israeli army had previously withdrawn as part of the ceasefire agreement that commenced on October 10. Despite the agreement, Palestinians have accused Israel of repeated violations, undermining the peace efforts.

Further alarming statistics were highlighted by the Gaza government media office, indicating that at least 411 Palestinians have been killed and 1,112 others injured in Israeli attacks since the ceasefire's initiation. The overall toll since October 2023 is even more staggering, with nearly 71,000 Palestinians, predominantly women and children, killed and over 171,000 injured due to ongoing Israeli military actions in Gaza.
