Jerusalem: The Israeli army conducted military raids across the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem, detaining at least 20 Palestinians, as reported by local sources.

According to Anadolu Agency, the arrests took place on Monday, with two individuals apprehended in Qalqilya, seven in Tulkarem, and another seven in Jenin, situated in the northern part of the West Bank. Additionally, Israeli forces reportedly assaulted and detained two Palestinians in Hebron's southern city following home raids and another two in East Jerusalem's Wadi Qadum neighborhood.

Since October 2023, Israeli forces and settlers have been responsible for the deaths of at least 1,102 Palestinians in the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem. Nearly 11,000 have been injured, and approximately 21,000 detained, according to Palestinian figures.

In a significant ruling, the International Court of Justice declared Israel's occupation of Palestinian territories illegal last July, urging the removal of all settlements in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.
