Tel aviv: One Israeli was killed and two others were injured in an Iranian missile attack in central Israel, Israeli medics said Monday.

According to Anadolu Agency, the national ambulance service MDA reported that three people were seriously injured by shrapnel. Tragically, one of the injured individuals succumbed to his wounds, as detailed by The Times of Israel news portal.

Regional tensions have intensified following a joint attack by the US and Israel on Iran last week. This attack resulted in the deaths of over 1,200 people, including Iran's Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei. In response, Tehran launched drone and missile strikes targeting several locations, including Israel, Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf countries that host US military assets.
