Israeli Military Identifies Missiles Launched from Iran, Defense Systems Activated

Jerusalem: The Israeli military announced on Saturday that it had identified missiles launched from Iran targeting Israeli territory. Defense systems have been activated to intercept these threats, with authorities urging residents in affected areas to take immediate shelter.

According to Anadolu Agency, the Home Front Command quickly issued emergency instructions via mobile phones, advising residents to enter protected shelters and remain there until further notice. This alert followed reports from Israeli Channel 12, which noted that sirens were sounding in the south, the Lowlands, and the Jerusalem area.

The tension between Israel and Iran has escalated since February 28, when US-Israeli strikes against Iran reportedly resulted in the deaths of 1,300 people, including the then-Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. In response, Tehran has launched a series of drone and missile strikes targeting Israel and Gulf countries that host US military assets.
