Serbia: Serbia has inaugurated a facility for the mass production of humanoid robots in the city of Sabac, marking a significant milestone as Europe's first such production site. The initiative, operated by Chinese manufacturer Minth Group in collaboration with Chinese robotics company AGIBOT, was launched in the presence of Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and Qin Ronghua, the founder of Minth Group.

According to Anadolu Agency, the first phase of the project involves an investment of £20 million. Additionally, a Robotics Industrial Park is planned for the northern city of Indjija, which is expected to elevate the total planned investment to £200 million. The government announced that once the project is completed, the annual production capacity is anticipated to reach 20,000 humanoid robots and robotic dogs for markets across Europe and globally.

President Vucic expressed his expectation that the facility would initially assemble over 5,000 robots each year. He emphasized the importance of the project as a leap into a new technological era for Serbia, highlighting the necessity for the country to keep pace with leading global powers. Qin Ronghua stated that the company intends to expand its product range in Serbia to include unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and advanced batteries.

The inauguration of this facility comes after President Vucic's visit to China in May, where he toured Minth's innovation center in Shanghai and observed demonstrations of robotic technologies.
