Tehran:Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated that Iran cannot be easily isolated due to its strong ties with neighboring countries.
According to Anadolu Agency, Pezeshkian emphasized the importance of Iran's connections with 15 neighboring countries, which provide vital avenues for economic, commercial, political, and security exchanges. He made these remarks before leaving for Turkmenistan.
Pezeshkian highlighted the potential benefits of regional engagement in enhancing Iran's interactions, regulations, and trade. He expressed hope for achieving the objectives planned during discussions at the upcoming summits.
The President traveled to Turkmenistan to participate in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) summit and a Caspian Sea environmental summit, where he is slated to address attendees and engage in bilateral talks with other leaders.
These statements occur against the backdrop of ongoing U.S. economic pressure on Tehran, including sanctions targeting key sectors of Iran's economy as part of a broader campaign.
