Israeli Attacks in Gaza Result in Multiple Palestinian Casualties

Gaza City:At least five Palestinians, including a woman, were killed and over a dozen others injured in a series of Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip.

According to Anadolu Agency, the attacks targeted several areas, including the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood, the Al-Tawam and Amer Project areas in Gaza City, Al-Sudaniya in the northwest, as well as Al-Mawasi in northwestern Rafah, and regions around Bani Suheila and northeastern Khan Younis.

Medical sources reported that Mohammed Rajab Warsh Agha died from injuries sustained in an Israeli airstrike on a tent sheltering displaced people at the Egyptian Camp in the Al-Tawam area. Earlier, two Palestinians were injured in the same strike, with one in critical condition.

In another incident, an Israeli drone strike on a civilian vehicle in Tel al-Hawa, southern Gaza City, resulted in the death of two Palestinians and injuries to three others, one critically. The casualties were transported to Al-Shifa Hospital.

Earlier on Thursday, artillery fire in the Amer Project area of northwestern Gaza City killed a Palestinian woman named Ahlam Mubarak, 30, and injured her husband and two children, with the husband seriously wounded.

Separately, Ahmed Khamis Abu Naja succumbed to injuries from an Israeli airstrike on a vehicle in Gaza City about a week ago.

Witnesses reported that Israeli naval forces launched attacks off the Gaza City coast and artillery fire targeted the Al-Sudaniya area. In southern Gaza, seven Palestinians were injured from artillery fire on a house in Al-Mawasi, northwest of Rafah.

Local sources indicated that the Israeli army demolished residential buildings and structures in areas northeast of Khan Younis. Additionally, smoke bombs dropped near the Bani Suheila roundabout caused fires in tents sheltering displaced Palestinians.

As of Wednesday, the Gaza Health Ministry noted that Israeli ceasefire violations had resulted in 1,467 Palestinian deaths and 5,161 injuries. Since October 2023, more than 74,000 Palestinians have been killed, over 175,000 injured, and around 90% of Gaza's infrastructure has been destroyed, according to Palestinian figures.
