Norway Updates Travel Advice for Saudi Arabia Amid Security Concerns

Oslo:Norway has revised its travel advice for Saudi Arabia, citing security concerns related to Houthi attacks from Yemen. The Norwegian Foreign Ministry now advises against all travel to areas within 110 kilometers of the Yemeni border, as well as to the cities of Abha and Khamis Mushait.

According to Anadolu Agency, the ministry's updated guidance also discourages non-essential travel to other regions of Saudi Arabia. This change comes in response to an increase in Houthi attacks targeting both military and civilian infrastructure, including airports, within Saudi Arabia.

Recent attacks have resulted in casualties, as reported by Saudi authorities, prompting Norway to take precautionary measures for its citizens traveling to the region.
